tl;dr
We have used Thad Ellet Plumbing for all plumbing/water issues for 3 years. My parents and grandmother all use Thad Ellet Plumbing as well. We have never had a complaint. Their customer service over the phone and in person is phenomenal. They are quick to show up after you make the call and they do very thorough, honest work. I would recommend Thad Ellet Plumbing to anyone.
Over all our experience with Thad Ellet was in fact good as far as the people, attitudes and quality except for one thing, the price! I really feel considering the circumstances with nobody calling us back we had to turn our head and cough. The fact that they literally made as much as some medical professionals, I'm not disrespecting the work they do but damn 335$ for and hours work.
At first I thought they were a tad pricey, so there was an initial sticker shock, but after seeing everything they went through, it was worth every penny. The guys were friendly, professional and did a great job. He explained everything, showed me everything they did and why they did it, and was very honest and awesome. Will be calling this place again if I need any more plumbing work done.
The total for this replacement was 335.00 for the cast wye connection replaced with pvc. It took almost and hour on the dot. I have no doubt that had we found an independent guy it would have been much better price wise but people know this and keep them booked to the point that I guess they don't need to return call or do so completely at their leisure. This is why the franchise style model can exist and charge these prices, I feel like at least half went to the outfit and not the guy that did the great work.

So let me start by saying the technician Dave and his quality of work does not reflect on this review at all. Dave was a great guy that did awesome 5 star work, hell he's someone I would go fishing with.
So Monday Oct 16th 2017 I was snaking our line and I busted an old cast wye connection in the basement, it being really old plumbing I knew I should call a pro and literally called every plumbing service in our area and left a message for a call back about estimates. The only two that returned my messages were Thad Ellet and A&W plumbing, omg the horror stories about A&W from friends and family completely excluded that option.
They are professional and kind; their prices are very fair. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a professional who will do the job right without trying to bleed your wallet dry.
They charged under $800 for a job that another local company was going to charge $2K+. They even knew what company I was referring to by the price alone! They understand fair pricing for services rendered, and they even have specials at various times (like a free pipe-scoping). The entire experience with them was pleasant and I never felt like they couldn't do the job right or that I was being overcharged. Highly recommended!
